A Magnet Designated Hospital is a healthcare facility that has been recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for its excellence in nursing care and is considered the one of the highest achievements a hospital can receive for nursing excellence and is only awarded to a hospitals that meet strict criteria.

To be designated as a Magnet hospital, a facility must demonstrate exceptional patient care, nursing leadership, and innovation in nursing practice. This includes having a highly skilled nursing staff, a supportive work environment, and a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Warren Memorial Hospital stands out as a Pathway to Excellence Hospital, also certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). This certification is awarded to hospitals that demonstrate a commitment to creating a positive work environment for nurses and providing high-quality patient care.

Valley Health has four Critical Access Hospitals in Virginia and West Virginia, helping to improve access to affordable healthcare by keeping essential services in rural communities.
