Suzanne Bechard, LCSW

About

Suzanne is a Licensed Clinical Therapist with Valley Health Outpatient Behavioral Health | Winchester. She completed her Master’s in Social Work at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. There she worked as a Licensed Social Worker for over 15 years before moving to Winchester, VA, in July 2022 with her husband and son. Prior to her work with Valley Health, Suzanne worked on an in-patient unit for civil and forensic patients at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, DC, for nearly 10 years.

Suzanne provides clinical therapy via therapeutic groups using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy interventions. Suzanne also provides individual, family and couples counseling using a strengths-based, collaborative and holistic approach. She is dedicated to empowering, encouraging and supporting individuals to reach their behavioral health goals.
