Judy Steger, MSW

About

Judy is a Supervisee in Social Work and Clinical Therapist with Winchester Medical Center Outpatient Behavioral Health Program. She is originally from California, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in film production from San Diego State University. Her years in the TV and Film industry provided a crash course in human emotions that peaked her interest in exploring a way to help others manage life stressors and societal pressure.

She went on to obtain her master’s in social work from Loma Linda University with an emphasis in Clinical Practice before moving to Virginia to be closer to family. Her clinical experience includes work in both outpatient and residential settings with clients of all ages and diagnoses. She emphasizes a grounded, realistic approach to finding balance, processing trauma, and moving forward.
