Jacob Belkin, MA

About

Jacob is a Resident in Counseling providing Children and Adolescent Services with the Outpatient Behavioral Health team. Jacob graduated from Shenandoah University with a bachelor of science in Psychology and a master of arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

Jacob has been in the field of mental health since 2018 providing various services such as Intensive-In Home, Therapeutic Day Treatment, and Crisis Stabilization in the Winchester and Frederick County communities. Jacob utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, which include DBT, CBT, and play therapy techniques to provide trauma-informed, client-centered care. Jacob is also EMDR trained. Jacob is excited to be able to provide outpatient therapy services to the children, adolescents, and families in the community.
