Did you know that you can submit an electronic medical records request through MyChart? MyChart is a free, easy, and secure way to view portions of your personal health information and communicate with members of your Valley Health healthcare team.
To request medical records through MyChart: Go to www.valleyhealthlink.com/mychart. Follow the step-by-step instructions to access your MyChart account. Once logged in to your MyChart patient portal, you can submit an electronic medical records request.
Beginning April 5, 2021, additional health information will be available to patients more quickly in their MyChart account. To learn more and request information sharing help, visit www.valleyhealthlink.com/infoblocking.
Comprehensive and up-to-date medical records ensure that your provider can deliver the best care possible with the knowledge from your previous medical history. Patients may request their information be released to themselves or third parties for various reasons. Obtained medical records are kept strictly confidential in Health Information Management Services and are not released without the patient’s consent, except as required by law.
