Pregnancy and childbirth are major life events that usually fill us with a great sense of joy and excitement. They can also make us feel temporarily overwhelmed by a whole new set of goals and challenges.
At Winchester Medical Center, a Perinatal Nurse Case Manager is available for patients in the Labor/Delivery, Mother/Baby, and Neonatal Intensive Care units Monday through Friday to support and guide them through the transition to parenthood. Together, you and the nurse case manager can create a plan to meet your medical, educational, financial, and social needs. Your plan of care may include assistance to help you access healthcare services, plan for your baby’s birth, connect with financial aid, or link you to available community resources such as Healthy Families.

Healthy Families Northern Shenandoah Valley
Established in 1998, Healthy Families Northern Shenandoah Valley (HFNSV) was developed to ensure a healthy future for children in Frederick County, Clarke County and the city of Winchester, Virginia.
Mission: The program mission of HFNSV is to provide education and support
for all families to promote healthy births and continued nurturing to
ensure children can reach school age emotionally and physically healthy.

Winchester Medical Center Payment Arrangements
Payment arrangements can be made for larger bills that cannot be paid off all at once. The first step is to contact us to request a payment arrangement, including no-interest monthly payment plans. We will then review your account for the different options that we offer. In many cases, you will be asked to fill out a Financial Information Sheet(FIS). Please fill out the form and return it in a timely manner so we can review your circumstances. This will help us make a more informed determination/suggestion of your options for resolving your bill.
