Upcoming Opportunities to Donate Blood at Valley Health

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Patients with chronic diseases, those undergoing surgery, or victims of traumatic accidents, and more, depend on the generosity of blood donors. While Valley Health does not operate a blood services business, it does partner with area agencies to host blood drives that facilitate the blood donation process.

The American Red Cross partners with Valley Health to host blood drives in the Winchester area. Upcoming 2025 opportunities to donate include:

• April 29 – Winchester Medical Center Conference Center.
• May 28– Winchester Medical Center (specific location TBD).
• August 28 – Valley Health Cancer Center Conference Room, located on the Winchester Medical Center campus.

Inova Blood Services also partners with Valley Health to host blood drives in the Shenandoah Valley. All 2025 blood drives will take place in the Winchester Medical Center Conference Center from 9 am – 1:30 pm.
