Glucose & Cholesterol Screenings

Valley Health is committed to helping our communities become healthier, together. At Hampshire Memorial Hospital, we are dedicated to long-term cardiovascular health and preventing heart attacks. That’s why we offer free glucose and cholesterol screenings on the last Tuesday of every even-numbered month. Cholesterol tests are available from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the hospital’s lab next to the main entrance.
Screening dates for 2023 are:
- April 25
- June 27
- August 29
- October 31
- December 26
Regular cholesterol or glucose screening is crucial for those who have a history of heart attacks or obesity in their families. In addition, glucose screening can help discover insulin resistance before it becomes full-blown diabetes, helping prevent the long-term effects of hyperglycemia. Get your screening today! No physician referral is required, and walk-ins are welcome.
