About
Robert K. Maurer, MD, is a neurosurgeon specializing in conditions of the brain and spine with advanced expertise in neuro-oncology and skull base surgery.
Dr. Maurer graduated from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his neurosurgical residency training from Penn State University, including a one-year term at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, one of the busiest neurosurgical centers in Australia. He then completed an accredited fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at Penn State University before joining the neurosurgery team at Valley Health. In addition to the treatment of brain tumors, he has expertise in the surgical treatment of epilepsy, movement disorders and back pain.
