Myo-Pale’ Aye, MD, is a fellowship-trained rheumatologist, board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. She subsequently pursued a fellowship training in rheumatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and served as a consulting physician at WellSpan Health in York, PA.
Dr. Aye’s clinical interests focus on general rheumatic/autoimmune diseases, with past research focused on identifying the prevalence of Sjogren’s specific autoantibodies in patients with scleroderma and overlap syndrome. The goal of her research was to understand the unique phenotype of individuals with overlap syndrome, disease progression, and ultimately develop a targeted treatment plan. In patient care, her focus is always to listen to her patient's concerns and discuss together the step-by-step plan, complete with state-of-art treatment options. She takes pride in involving patients in the decision-making process of their care and treatment options.
