Charissa "Charley" Carfrey, NP, received her BSN from Thomas Jefferson University School of Nursing and immediately went on to pursue her passion in Wound Care. She attended LaSalle University's Wound Ostomy, Continence Program and received additional training at Cleveland Clinic under Dr. Jacalyn Brace. She has been a member of healthcare teams in Skilled Nursing & Acute Long-Term Care facilities, as well as Outpatient Wound Centers and as the Inpatient Wound Care Coordinator for a hospital in suburban Philadelphia. She moved to Winchester to join the Center for Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine in 2015.

Charley enjoys educating others in the science and art of wound care, as well as providing excellent, compassionate care to members of the community. She particularly enjoys the team approach to wound care here at Valley Health, and the opportunity to work among clinicians of multiple disciplines to achieve the best outcomes.
