About This Event

  • Event Type:Parent Education Classes
Details:

Spinning Babies® is an approach for ease and comfort in pregnancy and birth. The three-to-four-hour class, taught by a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator, invites pregnant moms and their partners (birthing couples) to understand maternal anatomy, birth positions, gravity and movement, and birth preparation, all with a midwifery-focused priority on physiological care. Learning about activities and positioning for the body during pregnancy can help prepare for a successful labor and delivery. The name, “Spinning Babies®”, invites parents to pay attention to baby’s position during pregnancy and their spiraling motion during the childbirth process.

The class can accommodate five birthing moms who are at least 20 weeks pregnant, along with their partners.
