“I enjoy the opportunity for growth at Valley Health the most. I have gone from a student intern to the intake coordinator and have grown so much professionally in this role. I look forward to being fully licensed soon and seeing how I can continue to learn and grow with this organization.”
I started working at Valley Health as a Counseling Intern while in school, earning my master's degree. I currently work at Valley Health as an Intake Coordinator in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
The Intake Coordinator's role includes conducting intake assessments for potential new patients, admission appointments to admit new patients into the program, tracking/monitoring the census, and assisting with running therapy groups throughout the week.

One of the benefits I appreciate the most is the health insurance Valley Health has to offer. In the past, I have found it challenging to find a job in this field that offers decent benefits (especially with smaller private practices). It was a huge relief to no longer worry about affordable healthcare and coverage once I accepted my position at Valley Health. I also really appreciate how supportive my co-workers are and the team aspect of working in this program. I always feel supported and am grateful to work in such a positive environment.
