Jenny Grooms

Originally from Southwest Virginia, Jenny graduated from Emory & Henry College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Med. She is a graduate of the Duke University Non-Profit Management program and a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).

During her husband’s Army service, Jenny served as the program coordinator for the National Marrow Donor Program at the Scott & White Clinic in Temple, TX and as market manager for the American Diabetes Association in Tucson, AZ prior to their returning home to Virginia.

Jenny joined Valley Health in 2005 and serves as the Executive Director for the Foundations of Valley Health, facilitating health philanthropy throughout the region at all six Valley Health hospitals.

Jenny and her husband, Forrest, reside on a historic farmette in Winchester, VA with their two children – Payton and Ethan.
